Please use the following Little League International age charts to determine which division to register your child for. League age may be different than actual age & is not the same for baseball and softball.

Softball Divisions

Majors (previously Soft A) - Typically 12 & 11 year old's and some 10's.  60 foot base paths and 40 foot pitching distance with a 12" ball.  This is all kid pitch and is "Real Softball".

Minors (Previously Soft B) - Typically 10 & 9 year old's with some 8's and 11's.  60 foot base paths and 35 foot pitching distance with an 11" ball.  This is modified kid pitch where the coach comes in to pitch to a player instead of accepting a "walk" with modified base running rules.

Rookies - Coach Pitch (Previously Soft C) - Typically 8, 7 and 6 year old's with experience.  60 foot base paths, with coaches pitching with an 11" ball and modified base running rules.

Soft Tee  (Tee Ball) - Typically 5, 4 and some 6 year old's with no experience.  This is Tee Ball with an 11" soft safe ball.

Majors - Typically  12, 11 & 10  year old's   60 foot base paths and 46 foot pitching distance (LL Regulation Field).  This is all kid pitch and is "Real Baseball" but without leading prior to the ball crossing the plate.  There are typically 11-13 kids per team.

Minors-  Typically 9, 8 & 7  year old's.  Regulation field with all kid pitch and no coach pitch bale out.  This is "Real Baseball" like Majors but with some base stealing limitations.  There are typically 11-13 kids per team.

Rookies- Typically 7 & 6 and some few experienced 5 year old's.  Regulation field with all coach pitch from a knee or use of mechanical pitch machine. There are also base running limitations. There are typically 7-8 kids per team.

Tee Ball - 5 & 4 year old's and some 6 year old's with no experience.  This is Tee Ball with a soft safe ball.  There are typically 5-6 kids per team.

50/70 (Intermediate) - 13, 12 & 11 year old's.  70 foot base paths with 50 foot pitching distance. This is "Real Baseball" with leading prior to the pitch. Those 12 & 11 year old's playing Majors can play 50/70 Rec at the same time. This is a unique opportunity to learn and play 50/70 in a relaxed recreation situation while getting more playing time and reps. This is NOT an ALL-STAR team but a Rec team that plays other Rec teams under 50/70 rules in District 12.
